Greetings from Winter Sun Schoolhouse, a center that earnestly celebrates the mental aptitude, creative handiwork and heartfelt actions of the young child. We are an intimate school and are unique in our approach to early childhood education. We promote learning through meaningful experiences and play is fundamentally respected as the work of the young child.

     We believe that happy children are healthy learners, therefore, our goal is to create an environment that will foster joy and happiness. On any given day you might observe children making a fruit salad, dancing, singing in Spanish, acting out a story they heard, sorting, drumming, stacking, writing, fingerpainting, creating rhythm, collecting nature objects, journaling or simply building mud pies with their friends.

     We are passionate about what we do and consider it a grand opportunity to be able to work with young children, helping them to realize their potential and impressing upon them a life long joy of learning.
