Voyagers 4-year-old preschool GSRP
This program is offered at the Whitehall Road, Ruddiman Drive, and Henry Street campuses.

The Great Start Readiness Program is Michigan’s answer to providing free preschool for all families, prioritizing "income-eligible" families first. It is ranked #1 in the United States! The program receives funds from the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential. More information can be found on their website at: www.michigan.gov/mileap/early-childhood-education/early-learners-and-care/gsrp.
The Reggio-Emilia pedagogy is uniquely characterized by three important concepts: respect for the child, an emphasis on building relationships, and the power of the learning environment. It just so happens that the State of Michigan recognizes the “Reggio Emilia Approach” as a curriculum that can be used in a GSRP classroom. We love this because it aligns very closely with the Winter Sun Way.
"The wide the range of possibilities we offer children, the more intense will be their motivations and the richer their experiences". ~Loriz Malaguzzi
